Where are you getting power for the system? The instructions say to draw power from the coil but it has been found that a relay power supply from the battery will work better as the system is sensitive to voltage drop. What is the idle fuel pressure? I believe for small blocks it should be 15 psi, 18 psi for big blocks. Are you using the closed loop kit? If you have the closed loop kit you should be tuning with the O2 sensor disconnected. We will need some more info before we can progress with finding your problem. I am stumped i dont know what to do this is the first time I have done this and the manual is not that great.ĭustin, there are at least 15 or so PROjection kits that were sold by Holley and they all differ slightly. I attend to lower the voltage on the TPS b/c running to rich at idle. My main source of power comes from the MSD 6AL tach terminal. I need help on there do you change springs? i dont know. i am not sure because there is a stud that push the spring down but you cannot adjust the stud. On the fuel pressure I took it apart and there is a spring in there. It jumps all over the place like it is flucuating. i cannot get it to idle and when I do get it to run and hold it at a curtain rpm. I am trying to get this Holley Projection to work. I put a rebuilt 302 in it, edelbrock inake, forged pistons, bored 60 over, RV cam, etc. I have a 1970 Ford that I converted to four wheel drive.
